valiant U-14 Camogie Team. Just a puck of the ball was the difference
between defeat and a place in their first championship final after a
thrilling semi-final tie with Bredagh. The game was always close and at
half time the Reds trailed narrowly by a goal. The third quarter didn’t
quite go according to plan and Bredagh pulled away into a ten point lead
but back came Aghaderg to stage a stirring fightback that ended just
one point short as the referees whistle called time, with the girls
pushing hard for the winner.
