Our U-15 footballers travelled to Annaclone tonight for a top of the table clash. With 6 players missing tonight due to exams and injuries we knew we would be in for a real battle and would need to fight for every ball.
The Lads started well and got their possession game going from early on and hit the first couple of points, Annaclone came back into the game and were good on the counter attack, but our back line worked hard and won most of the duels, with great link up
play from O McGrath, L Simpson, C McQuaid & J McSherry.
J Kearney & D McKernan goals separated the teams by 6 points in the first half.

Second half started well for Aghaderg with M McKay getting an early goal, Annaclone had a good spell of their own and scored two goals in this period of play , but the Aghaderg lads dug deep again and worked some brilliant points, pick of the bunch was from S Devlin & D McKernan, with J Kearney adding another goal.
In the last 15 minutes the midfield duo of C Muckian & A Bell got a real foothold in the game and the Derg ran out winning by 12 points.
