Unfortunately Aghaderg came up short in the league final to a very strong Bredagh side.
The two teams won every game in their respective leagues and came head to head on Thursday evening for the league final showdown in Liatroim. Our U-15 lads battled hard for every ball and fought until the final whistle, but the physical size of the Bredagh players had a massive bearing on the score line. Aghaderg had plenty of great spells in the game and scored some outstanding goals and points within these periods.
It’s never nice to lose a final but we can take away a lot of positives from this game and now push on to the championship.
Thank you to all those who travelled to support the lads and a big thank you to everyone involved in organising the reception back at the hall for the players.
