On a lovely summer's evening in Ballyvarley our U-13 lads hosted Warrenpoint in perfect conditions for football. Warrenpoint have been playing and doing well in a league above our lads but the Derg men never took a step back and despite the heat the effort the boys showed from start to finish was just fantastic - their coaches had nothing but praise for each of the 16 young lads who played tonight!
Warrenpoint hit a purple patch in the second having run in a number of goals to put the result beyond the reds but it's not all about winning and we should all be very proud of this group who battled hard and gave 110% right to the final whistle!
