The club is planning to run a series of get togethers over the autumn and winter to promote the Irish Language in our club. The Ranganna/Ciorcal Comhrá will take place on Thursday evenings between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm starting on Thursday 8 October 2026. The format of the event will be as follows: 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm - Under 16s 7:45 pm to 8:15 pm - Seanfhocal na Seachtaine Recording (All welcome) 8:15 pm to 9:00 pm - Over 16s The focus will be on speaking simple phrases in Irish in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with tea/coffee etc. The programme is being take forward with the assistance of a grant from Glór na nGael.
