Ballyvarley Progress To The Junior Hurling Championship Semi-Finals

In the wide open spaces of Pairc Esler Ballyvarley were made to work hard for their victory over a Clonduff side full of passion and vigour to reach the semi-finals of the Junior Hurling Championship.
From the start there was a bite to the Clonduff challenges with a lot of play in the middle third of the field as both sides struggled to assert themselves.
Quick thinking from James Mc Dermott saw him quickly cut the sliotar to the unmarked Paul O'Neill who sent the ball into the box. where Martin O'Neill doubled on the air borne ball to hit the net and draw a cry from the Ballyvarley support.
