U-10 Camogie Blitz Resounding Success

Aghaderg Camogie Club hosted the County U-10 & U-8 Blitz on Saturday last 07/06/08. A very competitive day's camogie was quite evident for all those who attended. There were nine teams namely; Aghaderg, An Riocht, Ballycran, Ben Dearg, Bredagh, Castlewellan, Dromara, Kilcoo, Leitrim. Each team had at least six matches ranging from 8 minute games down to 5 minute games as the day wore on and the legs got tired. 

The host club failed to register a win but were beaten only by the narrowest of margins on three different occasions. There was a good level of skill on display throughout the tournament with perhaps Ballycran, An Riocht and Leitrim showing the higher levels of those skills.

All who attended had a very enjoyable day and the sunshine made for a pleasant day out for the spectators.
