Encompass All: Trail-O
ABC Council in partnership with Orchard Country Orienteers are organising the next Trail Orienteering (Trail-O) event to take place on Sunday 22nd August from 2pm – 4.30pm at Gosford Park.
Trail Orienteering (Trail-O) is a form of inclusive orienteering that has been developed to offer those with a disability or reduced mobility a chance to participate equally with others. Trail-O involves navigation skills and correctly identifying marked points on a special orienteering map. The event is not timed and participants will stay on predetermined accessible paths or trail throughout which makes it ideal for wheelchair users and those using walking aids.
The event is free to take part in thanks to funding from Sport Northern Ireland.
The event is suitable for all, however under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
