U-12 LGFA

Last night the U-12 girls made the trip to Annaclone for their
latest game in the league and came up a very strong and physical side
and they were able to use the strong wind to their advantage in the
first half.
Such is the progress that the girls have made this season
that they stood up to the pressure and began to impose themselves on the
game. Both defences we’re very strong and both teams were made to work
hard for their scores.
The second half saw a a considerable increase in
the physicality of the game, and our young reds stayed strong and the
second half was arguably our best performance of the year. Our rising
stars also produced their best performance to date in the middle third
and produced some of the best moves and scores of the night.
We have a
break in the league now until 20th July and we are looking forward to
continuing the progress of this young team.
The coaches couldn’t be
prouder of how the girls are progressing and improving this year,
hopefully pointing to a bright future for the club.
