Our U-12LGFA travelled with a depleted squad to neighbours Tullylish and put on a terrific team performance.
The girls worked incredibly hard against a team vying to finish top of the league, and despite the unavailability of so many players, Tullylish had to earn every score, our defence fought for every ball, retained possession very well and took their scores exceptionally well. It is a testament to our girls effort, that in the first 30 minutes Tullylish were restricted
to long range efforts.
Tullylish eventually ran out as 2-5 to 1-2 winners, but as coaches, we are so proud of them tonight as all 13 girls played with belief and pride in the jersey and we finish the league campaign on a high.
Thank you so much to our parents all year for your support, each girl on the panel is a credit to you and we look forward to having them back next year and wish our older girls good luck moving onto U-14.
