Our Fundamentals, U-8 and U-10 boys and girls had a busy morning in Aghaderg pitch yesterday to wrap up the season.
The camogs welcomed our neighbours Ballela for a last fun but competitive match. All girls displayed great efforts and showed that they have developed and improved upon their camogie skills throughout the season. This was definitely shown when the 'piñata' was produced after the game. It must have been the added incentive of the sweets that lay inside but the girls kept the best of their striking until then.
Our wee 'dergs' also were in attendance for their last session.
Our fundamentals group have shown great consistency with over 40 U-5s in attendance at some point throughout the year enjoying a fun packed season developing their skills, confidence and more importantly making friends!!!
Thanks must go to Aghaderg club for providing each child with a well deserved medal and treat bag for the super efforts and commitment that has been shown this season.
Huge thanks also to all our parents, without your involvement in the camogie and fundamentals groups it wouldn't be the success and fun it has been.
All of the coaches are very proud of what the children have achieved this year and we look forward to next season with these talented groups of 'reds'.
