Ballyvarley got off to a flying start away to Ballela with Mick Lennon grabbing an early goal.
Against a strong breeze, a quick fire 1-1 from Danny Magee and a super point from Darragh McKay after a strong run stretched the lead to 2-2.
Ballela quickly got a super goal and point to bring them back in the game, and the sides continued to trade points before Ballela netted a second goal just before half-time to leave the score 2:6 each.
Playing with the breeze in the second half, Ballyvarley started to dominate play. Miceal McNulty grabbed a super goal from play with Johnny Lennon adding 3 points from play. Danny Magee continued to keep the scores coming, finishing with 2:10 in all and Ballyvarley running out winners.
