DOWN GAA GOLF CLASSIC

Less than two weeks to go now to the Down GAA Golf Classic sponsored by O'Neills at the magnificent setting of Ardglass Golf Club.
A day when the Clubs of Down can do battle for the Sean O Neill Cup, Burren and Mayobridge are set to do battle, in the battle of the Parish, word has it that Michael O Rourke has An Riocht golfers at the Driving Range, there is a Newry Shamrocks Team wanting to bring the Cup back to Newry, will the Golfers of Ballycran take the trophy to the Peninsula for the first time, or might John Kielty and his team from Dundrum make their mark.
Diarmuid O Sullivan on behalf of the County Hurling Management will put a challenge up to our Footballers, whilst County Senior Football Champions Kilcoo are wanting to do the Golfing and Football Double!
The Gauntlet has been thrown down and there are Golfers in all of our Clubs, so now the challenge is to wear your Club Colours on 24th May and with no Club Activity that evening, make your way to Ardglass and Play for your Club!
There is still time on the Time sheet for your Club to enter and claim the honour of being County Golfing Champions.
