The long-awaited derby clash between Ballyvarley and Ballela lived up to all pre-match expectations and in an entertaining high-scoring thriller it was Ballela who eventually romped home with a convincing eight point winning margin. The game was decided in an explosive ten minute spell just before the interval which saw Ballela come from behind to turn the game on it’s head and hammer home eleven scores to Ballyvarley’s solitary one.
