Coaching Excellence Clinic

Down GAA are delighted to announce that we are hosting a Coaching Excellence Clinic with Down Senior Football Team Coach, Ciaran Meenagh, on Saturday February 8th 2025.
The session will take place at Lecale Trinity Grammar School, Downpatrick, from 1pm - 3pm.
Ciaran Meenagh is currently coach of the Down Senior Football team which won last year’s Tailteann Cup and secured promotion to Division 2 of the Allianz Football Leagues. Ciarán previously led Derry to two consecutive Ulster Senior Football Championship titles as coach in 2022 and manager in 2023.
This will be an outdoor observational session, open to all coaches to attend. The session is free of charge, however attendees MUST pre-register before attending, using the QR code on the accompanying poster.
This session will explore key components of the new FRC Rules of Gaelic Football and how coaches can effectively plan for these in their own sessions.
