What a fantastic week we’ve had at Aghaderg GAC and Ballyvarley HC, hosting 70 brilliant children for a fun-filled week of the Gaelic games we all love!
This camp wouldn’t have been possible without a huge team effort, and we want to say some special thank-you's.
First and foremost, thank you to our incredible Cúl Camp coordinator, Roisin Dolan.
Roisin worked tirelessly behind the scenes in the lead-up to the week—recruiting coaches, ensuring everyone was fully qualified, and putting safety and fun at the heart of everything. She’s the first to arrive, the last to leave, covering everything from first aid and tuck shop duty to tea and coffee runs—all while making sure the camp ran without a hitch. Roisin, we can’t thank you enough for your dedication and energy.

A huge thank you to all our coaches – without you, this week simply couldn’t happen.
You stepped up to a tough job and made it look easy, creating an atmosphere where the kids could learn, laugh, and thrive. The smiles said it all!
A special shoutout to Maria and Sienna, who managed the never-ending queue at the tuck shop with patience and a smile every lunchtime – thank you!
And finally, thank you to Brian Morgan, Down GAA Hurling Development Coach, for overseeing the camp throughout the week. It was a pleasure to have your support and expertise.
