Aghaderg 7s

Tonight, our senior camogs had the great fun of hosting their own 7s competition in Aghaderg. It was a fantastic evening focused on fun, development, and camaraderie as we welcomed some of our neighbouring clubs for a friendly run-out ahead of the trip to Kilmacud this August.
The competition was played in great spirits, with all the girls enjoying the matches and showing brilliant sportsmanship throughout. In the Shield Final, it was Domara versus Aghaderg Whites, with the Whites taking the honours in a tight contest. Over in the Cup Final, Ballela and Aghaderg Reds battled it out for top spot—while some of the Reds might say they were robbed by the ref, Ballela just edged it to claim the win!
A huge well done to all involved. The girls rounded off the evening with some well-earned light refreshments back at the club—thank you to everyone who helped organise the event, supported the raffle, and worked behind the scenes to make it all run smoothly.
We’re already looking forward to seeing the girls in action again at Kilmacud!
