Instead of our usual Friday night training, we were delighted to be invited along to Warrenpoint for some game time — and what a great turnout we had! It was brilliant to see so many girls proudly lining out in the red.
We fielded two U-8 teams alongside our U-10s, giving all the girls plenty of time on the pitch and they played great.
The girls were also very lucky to be joined by Grace Cunningham from the Down U-23 team, who brought along their All-Ireland trophy. Grace spoke passionately about her love for camogie and was a true inspiration to all our young Camogs. -
Thank you to both Grace and Ben for taking the time to come along and support the girls — it meant a lot! We were lucky to have our own All Ireland Camog Katie coaching our U-8s this evening too, a fantastic role model.
A huge thank you as well to Warrenpoint for hosting us and making it such an enjoyable evening.
And most importantly, well done to all our Camogs — keep up the great work!
