Our U-10 girls were invited to Downpatrick RGU this morning for a special fixture outside of our usual Blitz schedule.
Despite a full week of camp, our girls came out firing on all cylinders. The hosts, Downpatrick RGU, fielded an impressive squad of 30 players split across three teams, with Dundrum also taking part. Our girls faced all four opposition teams, showing incredible skill, teamwork, and determination. They racked up some fantastic scores and their defending was excellent.
To cap off the day, Downpatrick invited us to a final challenge match against a mixture from all 3 of their teams.
It was a real test — but our girls rose to the occasion, holding their own and giving a performance they should be proud of.
Massive well done to all involved — you were brilliant!
