Senior Hurling
11 October 2025
Ballyvarley 5-18 East Belfast 1-18
A depleted panel due to injury and availability did not deter Ballyvarley as the senior hurlers had a great win to finish the championship with an emphatic victory today in Leitrim.
Goals played a significant part in today’s win with them adding to a strong points tally which ultimately meant that from the fourth minute goal , they always maintained goals between them and East Belfast. This was a good team performance across the whole panel of players and Harrison lennon had an outstanding game scoring 3-10 from play and frees, whilst Michael Lennon contributed two Goals albeit some of his team mates may have claimed otherwise but definitely were Michael’s.
The defence was solid throughout whilst Paddy McGrath pulled off a wonderful first half save and midfield was solid throughout. The forward line all contributed including Brogan Brackenbury on his first starting game in senior hurling .
A positive platform to head into the Ulster Junior league.
