Dundrum Prove Too Slick For Hardworking Aghaderg In Championship Final

In Parc Esler on Sunday last a hard working Aghaderg team were well beaten by a well organised and talented Dundrum fifteen who had been defeated in last year’s final. Manager Noel Sexton was able to pick from a nearly full strength panel with only James McGrath not available for selection. The preparation had gone well and the level of expectation was high even though Dundrum were undefeated in twenty three competitive matches in 2012. Hundreds of Aghaderg spectators were present as they hoped that the Reds could build on an impressive championship campaign and win a first football county title in their sixty nine year history.
