SUPER EVENING AT THE CLUB SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT

Lots of glitz and glamour at the Clubs very successful Senior Awards Night in the Canal Court Hotel 25th January.

Pride of place went to our Senior Camogie team who won the Down Junior Camogie Championship and our U-16 Camogie and Hurling teams who also had very successful seasons.

The special ingredient to this year’s function was our invitation to our 1989 Junior Camogie double-winning team which added extra spice to a most entertaining night. The achievements of our various managements and players were recognised throughout the evening with Down Camogie Chair Helen McAleavey and County Camogie Secretary Patricia Clarke presenting the camogie awards and the new Down Chairman Jack Devaney doing the football and hurling presentations.
