COVID-19 COMMUNITY SUPPORT FROM AGHADERG/BALLYVARLEY
19 March 2020
At Aghaderg/Ballyvarley, it
is a privilege to pull on the club jersey or support those doing so to
represent themselves, the club, their families and the Parish. As a
club, we are indebted to the support from our Parish.
During the
current COVID-19 pandemic,
as a club we would like to give something back to the Parish that has
supported us so well, over the coming weeks.
For those that are vulnerable and unable to leave their homes for
groceries or prescriptions we will be offering a delivery service at no
charge to those in need.
Deirdre McGrath,
Maria McGrath,
Mark O’Kane,
Brian McGrath will take the calls, and organise one of the volunteers listed to call
out to those in need.
Full list of names can be seen from our 'Downloads' section.
Deirdre, Maria, Mark or Brian will identify to
those calling, the name of the person who will call to help.
These
volunteers will follow the strict guidelines and hopefully
be wearing club colours when they call so they are identifiable.
If you know anyone who is vulnerable or isolated, let them know there is
help available and they can contact Deirdre, Maria, Mark or Brian, their
phone numbers will be on the Club Facebook pages and club website.
