AGHADERG MAKE DRUMANESS WORK FOR CHAMPIONSHIP VICTORY

A well organised Aghaderg team produced a spirited performance in Bright against Drumaness, making the pre-match favourites fight all the way for victory in their opening Junior Football Championship clash.
Michael Fitzpatrick gave the Reds an early lead and the teams were level four times in an evenly balanced opening 25 minutes.
Paul Colgan produced a spectacular one-handed save in an intriguing contest but was unlucky not to stop the 26th minute penalty that finally created a gap between the two sides.
