The senior Camogs travelled to Kilcoo tonight to play in a temperature of 23 degrees.
We had a full team for the first time in a long while.
Kilcoo scored first from play with a high ball over the bar.
Aghaderg quickly replied with a great point from Katie Canniford. With tight marking and good ball clearances there was only 4 points between the 2 teams going into the second half.
Aghaderg fought hard to win possession in midfield from Grainne Moran and Sarah Malone with Grainne getting a point from play.
The back line of Rachael Canniford, Chloe McConville, Laura Fletcher, Claire Convery, Lucy McAvoy and Andrea Fletcher played for every ball and gave 100%.
Forward line of Sinead Brackenbury, Katie Canniford, Aine McNulty and Caoimhe Morgan, were unfortunate not to score more only to be stopped in their tracks by a goalkeeper who was in top form.
Clara Priestley and Dineen white came on at the second half.
Final score Kilcoo 1-8 Aghaderg 0-4.
