The U-13s, who are joined up with Craobh Rua for the year under the name DĂșn Ard, won a thrilling and hard fought Championship semi-final away to league champions and previously unbeaten Kilclief, to earn a place in the Down Championship final.

The team got off to a great start thanks to a couple of great scores from Conor Comiskey and two exquisitely taken goals from his brother Stephen, meaning the boys were up 8 points at the half.

In the second half some great defending from Eoghain Devine and Anjum Hussain and tenacious work and ball winning from fowards Harry Mooney and James Campbell meant the team were able to win by 5 points, on a scoreline of 4-4 to 3-2.

The boys will now face Bredagh in the final next Saturday.
