Please take a few minutes to read through the information below. Thanks!
Monday 10th of May will see the return of Club Fixtures and there is an excitement in the air about our imminent return to play, Coiste Chontae an DĂșin wish though to remind all Clubs, their players, their members and their supporters of the importance of full compliance and cooperation with the guidelines and directives that are in place.
Until we are advised otherwise, Coiste Chontae an DĂșin and its CCC remind everyone that No Spectators are permitted to be in attendance at any Fixtures, Club or County, across all Age Groups. There can be no exceptions to this directive which applies across the 32 Counties. All Games must be played behind Closed Gates.
We would love to see spectators at our games again and in time, we hope that this will happen but for now at a time when the virus is still with us, there remains a responsibility on GAA members to play our part in helping our communities stay safe and for us to continue to play a role in halting the transmission of the Virus.
For Clarity in regard to Underage Games and Training it is very important to note that: The attendance of spectators is strictly forbidden including parents/designated persons at youth games/training.
If a parent/designated person wishes to remain on-site for the duration of the game/activity, they may do so in close proximity to the event (e.g., in their cars or outside of the perimeter gates of the Ground) and must also have completed the GAA online health questionnaire prior to leaving home.
Parents/guardian's using Club Walking Trails as an opportunity to stand and watch training or games is not permitted.
It is important again to emphasise that the attendance of spectators is strictly forbidden.
These arrangements apply to both GAA controlled venues and non-GAA controlled venues, such as local authority pitches.
