Progressing
to the final, they faced a skillful and tough Kilclief side, who they
have had many battles with throughout their underage careers, but with
some great defending and score taking in the first half we were ahead
2-4 to 1-2 at the short whistle.
In
the second half, we continued to push foward and scored a killer goal
that put 9 points between the teams with only a few minutes remaining.
From there we were able to see the game out, eventually winning on a
scoreline of 3-7 to 2-3, leading to jubliant scenes of celebrations from
players and parents alike.
