Another brilliant performance from Aghaderg's young footballers today.
Right from the throw-in, it was clear we were facing a very strong, well-drilled Burren side.
They proved to be by far our toughest opponent to date this year. After a difficult start to the game, the young Reds got into their stride and matched the opposition all the way. The game was a terrific contest, and when it finished all square, the referee took time to congratulate both teams on a great display of skills.
Big challenges such as today, can only help develop our players. The coaches were so proud with the effort from every single boy this morning. Great to see how well some lads adapted to new positions, and others getting more game time at this level, including the U-9s.
The more experiences like this, the more these young players will learn.
