A massive thank you to everyone who travelled today to watch the lads in what was a brilliantly entertaining final. The boys coming from 5 points behind were definitely spurred on when the huge Derg cheer went up as they drew level for the first time 15 mins into the second half. From then on the boys kicked on and despite a last minute St Michaels goal the reds got the well deserved win beating the Magheralin side by a single point.
Everyone connected to our club should be bursting with pride for this group of young reds who never gave in to secure this title. They are a great credit to their club, their families, the coaches and each other.
