The date for the formal switch on of the floodlights on the training pitch has been set!
Saturday March 20th was agreed. People attending are asked to come at 7.30pm for an 8pm switch on.
Format:
The format of the evening will be a blessing by
Father Andrew Mc Mahon
followed by two matches run on the pitch in quick succession;

People arriving at 7.30pm will be offered either a glass of hot punch - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Soft drinks and crisps will be available for children.
After the matches people are invited into the hall where tea, coffee; sandwiches etc will be available.
Entertainment
Colm Conway, who is part of a group which is in the County Finals of the Senior Scor has agreed to provide informal entertainment on the night. Children who had represented Aghaderg/Ballyvarley at the junior scor, and some of our young dancers will also be performing, during breaks in the music.
Club members will be needed on the night to organise and monitor the car parking and a constant presence on the gate is also necessary to prevent children accessing the road. High visibility jackets to be worn.
There will also be provision for existing members to renew their Membership Subscription on the night and the opportunity for any new members who wish to sign up for the first time.
