Developing Resilience Work with Young People
Where:
Ballyvarley Hall
The transition from adolescence to adulthood is complex and at times confusing for young people.
This 2 hour workshop will provide young people aged 14-16 with an opportunity to develop their confidence and interpersonal skills and to nurture resilience in our young people to promote their health and well being and to minimise their involvement in risk taking behaviours.
Issues covered include:

• Avoiding Negative Outcomes
• Developing Resilience
• Developing Self-Esteem
• Drugs and Alcohol Misuse
• Decision making
• Positive coping strategies
• Support systems
