Aghaderg
U-12 girls team travelled to near neighbours Drumgath for their
penultimate league fixture on Monday 31st August and came away with a 7
point victory on a score line of 4-7 to 4-0.
The
first half was all Aghaderg with some free-flowing football and they
built up a commanding lead with goals from Clodagh Simpson, Cara McAuley
(2) and Eilidh O’Neill to lead by 4-5 to 1-0.
The second half was a
much more difficult assignment, with Drumgath on the front foot, but the
girls held their nerve to close out the match with a 7 point victory.
