It was no place for the faint-hearted as Aghaderg senior footballers fought to the finish to record a well-deserved home victory over a very competitive Bright team. It was a thrilling contest where the Reds always seemed to have the edge but with just a three point advantage and scores coming thick and fast, they were never allowed to rest on their laurels until that final whistle sounded. It was certainly a lively and entertaining opening home game that was sure to whet the appetite of local fans for the season ahead.
