TOUGH CHAMPIONSHIP CLASH ENDS IN STALEMATE

Aghaderg were made to fight
all the way for their championship survival in this tough, physical
Junior Championship tie in Kilcoo. The Reds struggled under the
floodlights for long periods and a solo goal from James McGrath saw the
sides go in level at the interval by 1-2 to 0-5.
Scores were slow in
coming in the second half as this tense battle continued, but another
great solo goal from Michael Fitzpatrick looked to have earned the
victory for the Reds. However, Kilclief rallied once again and both
teams will have to do it all again in the replay.
